Private Duty Home Services is a locally owned, nurse-led home care agency serving the Tri-Cities area. We are currently hiring dependable caregivers for 10–12 hour shifts in Blountville to support a pleasant female client with dementia. Coverage is needed 7 days per week. Multiple caregivers will be hired to create a consistent rotation schedule. This is a hands-on personal care position requiring confidence with full support needs. Schedule * 10–12 hour shifts * 7 days per week coverage * Weekend availability required * Ongoing, consistent scheduling Position Overview This client requires: * Dementia supervision and redirection * Full personal care assistance * Assistance with mobility and transfers * Emptying and monitoring of a colostomy bag Caregivers must be comfortable providing hands-on care while maintaining dignity and patience. Responsibilities * Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene * Safely assist with transfers and repositioning * Provide supervision due to dementia * Empty and manage colostomy bag as needed * Prepare meals and provide companionship * Document care provided * Communicate any changes promptly to the office Physical Requirements * Ability to safely assist a client with limited lower-body strength * Comfort providing full personal care * Ability to remain attentive and engaged during extended shifts What We’re Looking For * Strong attendance and reliability * Experience with dementia care * Comfort with colostomy care * Confidence assisting with mobility * Clear, professional communication * Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred All caregivers must follow company attendance and call-in procedures.
