Job Description

Join our team to craft high-end retail store displays through final assembly using hand tools such as drills, handheld routers, and air nail guns. This role involves integrating various materials like plastics, metals, and electronics, and requires working off blueprints to produce quality products. Precision in measuring to 1/16 inch is essential.

Responsibilities

• Match materials for color, grain, or texture.
• Trim component parts of joints to ensure a snug fit.
• Make holes for the insertion of screws or dowels.
• Use glue, fits, and clamps to complete unit assembly.
• Drive nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints.
• Sand and scrape surfaces for finishing.
• Install hardware such as hinges and drawer handles.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with woodworking, cabinet assembly, and carpentry.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and tape measure.
• Ability to think mechanically and troubleshoot effectively.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and cabinet making.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
