Location: Pleasanton, CA (Bay Area)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $35–$40 per hour + Overtime

Schedule : 12-hour night shifts

Position Overview:

VCPG is seeking professional, high-caliber Armed Residential Security Agents for a full-time overnight assignment. This is not a passive “observe and report” position. Agents must demonstrate maturity, sound judgment, accountability, and a service-oriented mindset while maintaining a visible yet respectful protective presence in a residential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide armed residential protection during overnight hours.
• Conduct structured patrols and manage access control.
• Maintain strong situational awareness and threat-informed posture.
• Interact professionally with residents, staff, and authorized guests.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activity accurately and thoroughly.
• Operate in strict compliance with California law, BSIS standards, and VCPG SOPs.
• Maintain weapon discipline, uniform standards, and professional demeanor at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid California CCW Permit.
• Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit.
• Valid California Guard Card.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Clean professional record suitable for armed residential assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former law enforcement.
• Military veteran.
• Prior executive protection or residential security experience.
• Demonstrated reliability and performance on night shift.

Professional Standards:

• Impeccable uniform presentation and professional bearing.
• Clear, concise written communication with strong report-writing skills.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment under pressure.
• Consistent reliability and punctuality.
