Picture this: It’s just before sunrise as you roll into the yard. Your truck is inspected, the route is loaded, and at 6:00 AM you head out to serve neighborhoods and businesses that count on reliable roll-off service. You navigate safely, stay in touch with dispatch, and return proud of a day’s work well done.

Schedule

  • Start time: 6:00 AM
  • Average 50–65 hours per week
  • Some Saturdays required

Compensation

  • Starting pay: $20–$22/hr for those without direct roll-off experience
  • Candidates with direct waste management experience may be considered at $23–$24/hr

What You’ll Do

  • Operate roll-off/garbage trucks to collect waste and recyclables along assigned routes.
  • Maneuver safely in residential and commercial areas while following traffic and safety rules.
  • Empty and secure containers, ensuring proper placement upon return.
  • Conduct pre-trip checks and basic maintenance; address minor repairs as needed.
  • Communicate with dispatch and teammates to optimize routes and resolve issues.
  • Keep your vehicle and work area clean and organized.

What You’ll Bring

  • Current, valid Oklahoma Class A or B driver’s license
  • Clean MVR
  • Skill and experience with manual transmissions
  • Up-to-date DOT medical card
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible availability and willingness to work overtime as requested
  • For insurance purposes: 21+ with at least 3 years of experience, or 25+ if under 3 years of experience

Proficiencies

  • Truck operations and load securement
  • Current CDL license
  • DOT and equipment inspection compliance

Legal & Compliance

  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
