Job Title: Entry-Level Rebar Associate / Construction Laborer

Job Summary:

The Rebar Associate is responsible for assisting with the preparation, placement, and installation of reinforcing steel (rebar) used in concrete construction. This entry-level position supports skilled workers on job sites and requires physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to follow instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting rebar and construction materials
• Measure, cut, bend, and tie rebar using hand tools and equipment
• Support the placement and securing of rebar according to project specifications and blueprints
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including staging materials
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform general labor duties as needed on construction sites

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; construction or labor experience is a plus
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
• Basic understanding of construction tools and safety practices preferred
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Work Environment:

• Outdoor construction sites in various weather conditions
• Fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• May require early mornings, overtime, and weekend work
