Job Description

Position Overview

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Lead Developer will serve as a senior technical expert responsible for architecting, developing, customizing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions—primarily leveraging Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power Platform, and related Dynamics technologies. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to transform complex requirements into scalable, user‑friendly solutions that align with enterprise standards and drive digital efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of solutions using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with business partners, SMEs, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for the Scrum Team.
  • Deliver high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable customizations, workflows, plugins, and integrations.
  • Implement back‑end data changes needed to enable future AI solutions, primarily leveraging Copilot and new Dynamics functionality.
  • Research, develop, and implement short‑ and long‑term strategies to effectively achieve business and technology roadmap objectives.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities across system processes and implement enhancements to increase efficiency.
  • Facilitate decision‑making and develop functional design documentation to drive the development process, incorporating the Architecture Runway and Technical Design Kanban Board.
  • Analyze customer journey touchpoints and maximize opportunities for optimization.
  • Participate in all phases of implementation—from requirements analysis to configuring the Microsoft Dynamics application to meet customer needs.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Integration

  • Own and execute complex enterprise‑level integrations between Power Apps, Dynamics CRM, ERP systems, and various third‑party applications.
  • Implement data flows using tools such as Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and REST APIs.
  • Ensure integrations adhere to best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.

Customization & Configuration

  • Customize, extend, and configure Dynamics applications to support specific business processes and operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain model‑driven apps, canvas apps, business rules, workflows, and custom components.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing CRM solutions across multiple business units.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with internal clients and key business stakeholders.
  • Understand business challenges and project objectives to deliver tailored, high‑impact solutions.
  • Serve as a technical advisor during requirement sessions, design workshops, sprint planning, and project reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Strong proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform Dataverse, and M365 development tools.
  • Proven experience with enterprise system integrations, APIs, Azure services, and automation workflows.
  • Deep understanding of CRM customization, configuration, solution management, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
  • Scaled Agile and Microsoft certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Azure.
  • Experience in Agile project environments (Azure DevOps, Rally, or Jira).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for the Power Platform (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
