We are currently seeking a Data Engineer - Python AND Kafka AND (Hadoop OR HDFS OR Hive) AND Snowflake AND apache AND (iceberg to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

"**Basic Qualifications:** Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. They must have 5–7 years of professional hands-on coding experience in collaborative, team-based environments, with strong troubleshooting skills in SQL and scripting. Proficiency in Python or Java is essential, along with deep familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD best practices, and Kubernetes deployment.

**Core Data Engineering Competencies:** We're seeking individuals who demonstrate expertise in temporal data modeling (e.g., SCD Type 2), schema management with a focus on schema evolution (Iceberg Apache), performance optimization through data partitioning and clustering, and architectural theory involving normalization/denormalization and natural vs. surrogate keys.

**Technical Stack Requirements:** While candidates don’t need to be experts in every tool, collectively the team should cover the following technologies: 
- *Extraction & Logic:* Python, Kafka, ANSI SQL, FTP, Apache Spark
- *Data Formats:* JSON, Avro, Parquet- *Platforms:* Hadoop (HDFS/Hive), Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, Sybase IQ"
