About the Role
In this role, you’ll safely operate a Class 2 flat deck truck to deliver steel, stainless steel, and aluminium orders , while providing excellent customer service. Additional duties include:
Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately
Receiving stock, processing paperwork, and keeping inventory records
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and following safety rules
Working full-time (Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm) with overtime paid at time and a half for any hours over 40
Full Class 2 Driver Licence (essential)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar delivery role (essential)
Valid Forklift Licence with relevant hands-on experience (essential)
Good knowledge of the Greater Wellington Region
Experience in stock picking, receipting, and general warehouse operations
Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
Intermediate computer skills
Willingness to work overtime when required
