Job Description

Position Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support multiple programs within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business area.
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and testing of advanced electrical systems and components in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
  • This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, along with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and support high-reliability defense-related applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks
  • Design electrical equipment, systems, and products for commercial, industrial, and defense applications
  • Lead and support the design of launcher electrical systems, including architecture and subsystem integration
  • Select and integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components into system designs
  • Develop custom hardware solutions to meet program-specific requirements
  • Define and establish requirements for chassis and enclosure design, ensuring compliance with system and environmental constraints
  • Perform system-level analysis, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, mechanical, and software engineering

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in electrical design and development
  • Experience in digital and mixed-signal electronic design and troubleshooting, preferably in military or other high-reliability environments
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog
  • Proficiency with LabVIEW for testing, automation, or system validation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to produce technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on defense or aerospace programs
  • Familiarity with high-reliability system design standards
