Position Summary and Objective

The Executive Protection Agent/Security Driver will be responsible for protection, driving, and security for executives. We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Executive Protection Agent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with C-suite level executives.  The ideal candidate will possess advanced driving skills, executive protection training, and a valid Virginia DCJS license for unarmed professional security duties. This full-time role involves operating a luxury vehicle while ensuring the safety, security, and confidentiality of the principal during travel to and from business and personal engagements. The estimated start date for this role is early March 2026.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Safely transport C-suite executive(s) to scheduled destinations throughout Northern Virginia and surrounding areas 
  • Provide an appropriate level of proximity and close protection
  • Conduct route planning, traffic monitoring, and contingency planning to ensure timely arrivals 
  • Maintain a professional and discreet demeanor at all times 
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip 
  • Coordinate with security teams and administrative staff as needed 
  • Maintain situational awareness and respond effectively to any threats or emergencies 
  • Maintain a clean, mechanically sound, and fully fueled vehicle 
  • Ensure strict confidentiality at all times 
  • Must be able to manage time appropriately 
  • Provide the appropriate level of proximity to the CEO for personal protection
  • Manage security at client events
  • Create detailed standard operating procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education
Required Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an executive protection driver or in a similar role serving high-profile clientele 
  • Prior law enforcement, military, or high-level private security background
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED 
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record 
  • Must have a clean criminal record
  • Be at least 21 years of age and not prohibited from carrying a firearm
  • Pass a fingerprinting/background check as part of the security licensing for VA, as well as DC CCW
  • Must maintain an active DCJS license
  • Must have completed all required Virginia state certified training for an (un)armed security guard (must provide certificates) with additional training as necessary
  • Certification in Executive Protection or close protection (preferred: EP schools such as ESI, EPI, or similar) 
  • Excellent knowledge of the DC Metropolitan Area (DMV) and surrounding area roadways 
  • Experience in emergency response 
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certificate 
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tactical/emergency driving course certification (EVOC, SDC, etc.)    
  • Familiarity with secure communications and advanced work
  • Possess a Virginia CCW permit for concealed carry in other states with reciprocity
  • Eligible or possess a Maryland CCW permit for concealed carry
  • Eligible or possess a DC SPO license and CCW permit for concealed carry
Position Type and Schedule
  • Regular Full-Time (RFT)
  • Expected 40 hours a week, Mon – Fri
  • Opportunity for overtime
  • In-person position located in Falls Church, VA
  • 24/7 availability to the client while on a task
  • May require domestic and international travel
  • Salary : $50.00 per hour
