Join our growing entertainment company as a Central Kitchen Supervisor!

In this role, you will be a leader responsible for coordinating daily production activities within assigned production rooms or workstations. This role ensures food is prepared safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards while providing direct, on-shift guidance to Production Associates. The Supervisor supports production flow, materials movement, and staffing coordination, and escalates operational issues to the Central Kitchen Manager as needed.

Round One is a family entertainment company that was established in Japan in 1980 and came to North America in 2010.

We are expanding across the USA with plans to open 100 stores by the year 2030! In addition to our core business of multi-entertainment facilities, we are planning to open a Central kitchen for our Japanese Food Halls within future stores.

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate daily production activities within assigned production rooms, including processing, freezing, and packing areas.
  • Source raw materials and ingredients from Central Kitchen refrigerators and freezers according to production plans and FIFO practices.
  • Monitor processing of semi-finished products and ensure proper freezing, labeling, and storage in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Coordinate the timely transfer of semi-finished and finished products between processing, freezing, and packing rooms.
  • Monitor workflow and productivity to support on-time and accurate production output.
  • Ensure Associates follow standard recipes, portioning, labeling, and production procedures.
  • Perform daily food safety, sanitation, and quality checks and report deviations to the Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
  • Ensure soiled equipment, utensils, and tools are properly cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to Production Associates during assigned shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a senior associate or lead in a commercial kitchen or food production environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance; heavier items with appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Food safety certification preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control practices.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple production tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, and refrigerated environments.
