Are you a master of the warehouse heights? If you can navigate a reach truck through narrow aisles with precision and ease, Randstad wants you on our team! We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious operators to join our fast-paced distribution center. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles, placing them in assigned storage locations, and assisting with replenishments.
salary: $17.99 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 11 AM - 7:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles, placing them in assigned storage locations, and assisting with replenishments. Key duties include locating and moving products on pallets, building pallets for storage or shipment, and identifying damages or quality deficiencies. Please note: To be considered for this role, candidates must have recent Reach Truck experience. Experience with other forklift types (such as sit-down, regular stand up or pallet jacks) will not be considered sufficient for this specific position. Regarding scheduling: shifts typically run from 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM, though hours may change based on operational needs
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
- working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
