Department Job Description Summary: Hybid, Florida residency required.
Must live within a reasonable commute to Miami Beach
Experienced Healthcare IT Project Manager (Construciton PM desired) responsible for independently leading enterprise‑level technology projects using advanced project management methodologies. Maintains accurate work plans, drives on‑time project delivery, and proactively resolves complex technical and operational issues. Serves as a trusted consultant to both IT and clinical operations teams, effectively communicating project status to stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrates strong expertise across multiple applications, ensures high‑quality service delivery, and consistently meets service level commitments. Known for positive leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a healthcare environment.
Position Responsibilities
- Project Management Methodology - Independently facilitates and contributes to enterprise advanced project management concepts to assigned projects
- Documentation - Follows established documentation guidelines, contributes to documentation improvement for the enterprise
- Work Plan Management - Maintains up to date work plans, accurately plans resources, adds value to by deep operational understanding of projects; executes projects on time
- Project Execution - Executes enterprise level projects on time; proactively escalates and resolves complex technical and operational issues with minimal guidance
- Issue Resolution -Able to address complex issues and satisfy both project and operational concerns
- Leadership - Acts as a “go to” consultant for operations and IT teams on broad project matters
- Communicates project plan and status to team members, managers and executives as required.
- Knowledge - Knowledgeable on multiple applications; recognized as an expert in project management
- Attitude – Maintains a positive attitude, welcomes and incorporates feedback, and shows appreciation for colleagues, patients, partners and customers in a consistent manner.
- Teamwork - Demonstrates great teamwork, shares information with others, responsive with all communications/deliverables, collaborates with the team to resolve open issues, and anticipates the needs of colleagues in a consistent manner.
- Service Delivery – Takes personal ownership of issues, ensures a high degree of accuracy with all communications/deliverables, completes tasks according to committed timelines, demonstrates excellent service recovery, and communicates with customers in a consistent manner.
- Service Management – Actively monitors assigned HEAT tickets, documents activities thoroughly, and resolves issues within the established service levels in a consistent manner.
Qualifications - Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience
- 4+ years related experience preferably in healthcare setting, Construction Project Management desired
