This will provide you with the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes your personal and professional growth. 

 

We are seeking a full-time Intern for our Houston office located in Katy, Tx to join our team for a duration of 10 consecutive weeks from June to August. 

 

Here's how an Human Resources Intern for our US PICCo office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Get exposure to the various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, workforce diversity, training, professional development, health & wellness, and HR special projects and general administrative functions 
• Assist with research, coordination and administration of Human Resources programs and initiatives 
• Assist the HR team with planning and executing district initiatives 
• Partner with marketing on social media initiatives
• Filed and organized confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation. 
• Undertake research projects as needed 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• May hold or be working towards an associates or bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field)
• 18 years of age or older and able to work in Houston, TX
• Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a background check and substance abuse test conducted by a third party
• A desire to pursue a career in Human Resources working in the construction industry 
• Ideal candidate will have previous work experience in an office environment. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to meet deadlines and stated objectives while managing shifting priorities.
