POSITION PURPOSE: The Instructional Designer, under general supervision of the Director, Faculty Teaching & Learning Center, provides professional-level instructional design and academic technology consultation to faculty and academic departments to enhance teaching and learning across online, hybrid, and face-to-face modalities. The incumbent collaborates with faculty to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate technology-enhanced curricula and instructional materials grounded in pedagogical best practices. The role applies instructional design methodologies and knowledge of academic technologies to improve course quality, accessibility, and student engagement. The position independently manages multiple projects and priorities, develops training and resources, and partners with IT and campus stakeholders to support the effective integration of instructional technologies. This position directly contributes to faculty development, student success, and institutional goals related to digital learning and instructional innovation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of relevant experience. Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
