Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist. In this role, you won't just be moving boxes; you will be the final gatekeeper of quality and the first point of contact for raw materials. You will perfomr cycle counts and inventory audits. You will ensure that every component entering or leaving our facility is accompanied by the precise documentation required standards.
salary: $20 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Unload and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Perform visual inspections for transit damage and verify part markings/quantities.
- Assign and apply internal tracking labels (QR codes/Barcodes) to raw materials and hardware.
- Archive quality records digitally and physically to support customer audits and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare outbound aerospace components for shipment, utilizing specialized packaging (ESD-safe, foam-in-place, or custom crating) to prevent damage.
- Generate accurate shipping documents.
- Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, and specialized freight forwarders).
The essential functions of this role include:
