As our Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our statewide training programs. You’ll ensure our LMS runs smoothly, policies are followed, reports are accurate, and our users are supported. This is a dynamic role where you’ll work closely with IT professionals, vendors, and program staff to optimize workflows, implement policies, and enhance training delivery through innovative system improvements.

Working Conditions

In Office : This position supports and manages the day-to-day business operations for Cal OES which is handled in an office location. This is not considered a hybrid telework position.

  • Create user guides and training sessions.
  • Manage projects effectively, including tracking, reporting and meeting milestones.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training related to navigating technology solutions.
  • Create and maintain user guides and other resources.
  • Ability to access and interpret various laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Manage upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts in technology solutions.
  • Generate and interpret reports.
  • Interpret and present data.
