What you will do:

The Licensing Analyst performs a critical analytical/Knowledge component as part of a high-level project delivery team. You will be part of a team that will execute contract optimization client engagements.

You will be responsible for creating spreadsheet-based analysis and conceptual models to provide clients with logical scenarios and conclusions in client engagements, delivering practical licensing expertise to within the context of the client’s unique circumstances.

What you will need:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant role e.g. as a SAM consultant or within a procurement team or for a reseller
  • Experience in licensing, pricing, and contracting policies for one or more major software vendors
  • An understanding of developments and issues with software licensing with the objective of delivering innovative, impactful, fact-based guidance and recommendations
  • An ability to analyze large volumes of data and produce logical conclusions.
  • Use of lateral thinking to solve problems in which inconclusive evidence and assumptions exist.
  • An unwavering commitment to the success of your team, and willingness to provide and receive constructive/ corrective action when needed.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the ability to assist in the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems.
  • An ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 100,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
