Responsibilities

• Safely operate a transit van during assigned morning or afternoon shifts.
• Assist passengers to and from their door, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the trip.
• Support passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including operating a wheelchair lift when needed.
• Secure passengers and mobility devices properly for safe transport.
• Follow GPS directions and/or maps to ensure timely and accurate arrival at destinations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience operating a wheelchair lift is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow GPS directions and/or read maps effectively.
