About WMI: The Wise Mind Institute (WMI) is an integrative center dedicated to mindfulness-
based approaches to psychological healing and self-development. We integrate the latest research
with timeless principles of emotional development and relationship effectiveness, offering
psychotherapy, clinical training, and coaching across our offices in Redwood City and Berkeley,
CA.
We are a warm, purpose-driven team of 23 clinicians, and we’re looking for a reliable, energetic
person to support the in-person operational needs of our practice on a part-time basis.
This entry-level, in-person role focuses on the day-to-day physical upkeep and operational
support of our office spaces. It’s an ideal position for someone who takes pride in keeping a
space running smoothly and enjoys being a reliable, behind-the-scenes contributor to a team
doing meaningful work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office spaces across our Redwood City and/or
Berkeley locations
• Monitor and restock office supplies; place orders as needed
• Support event setup and breakdown for team gatherings, workshops, and training events
• Assist with basic logistical tasks as directed by the office manager or director
• Process paperwork including mail, scanning and uploading client paperwork to EHR, etc
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all duties
• Reliable, punctual, and self-directed — able to work independently with minimal
supervision
• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and well-organized
• Warm, collaborative personality that fits well in a team-oriented environment
• Able to perform physical tasks (restocking supplies, arranging furniture for events, etc.)
• Prior office, hospitality, or facilities experience a plus — but not required
This is a part-time, in-person position at 4–6 hours per week, compensated at $22–$24 per hour
depending on experience.
