Job Description

This is for a full time pharmacy technician position.

• Work closely with the pharmacist on duty and follow policies & procedures, as set forth.
• Proper inventory management and purchasing.
• Accurately aid in counting, packaging, and preparing prescription orders.
• Assist patients and customers with their OTC purchases and prescription needs.
• Reconcile deliveries and pick-ups.
• Entering prescription orders and properly transmitting claims to the appropriate insurance companies.

Qualifications:

• Retail experience is preferred, not required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be a team player with proven abilities to apply judgment, ethical practice, and decision-making skills.
• MMS PrimeRx knowledge preferred, not required.
• The days and hours the pharmacy is operational are Monday to Friday 8 AM-7 PM, Sundays 10AM-4PM.
• Assigned work hours are flexible and will be discussed.
