Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Toms River, New Jersey
Hours: 11:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. (earlier end time on Fridays)
Compensation: $42 - $48 per hour (based on experience)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as a Licensed PTA

InMotion Physical Therapy is a growing outpatient clinic dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dependable PTA to join our team in Toms River.
Position Overview
The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of our Physical Therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans and help patients achieve their functional goals. This role is primarily for early afternoon through early evening hours, offering a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a consistent schedule and a strong team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and use of modalities.
Accurately document patient progress and treatment activities in the EMR system.
Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and the rest of the care team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics.
Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented clinic culture.
Qualifications
Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient or similar setting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with EMR systems preferred.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday: 11:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.
Friday: Earlier end time (typically 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. or as scheduled).
