Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Portage, MI
Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure product quality.
• Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
• Works independently with minimal supervision, applying professional expertise and judgment in the role.

Requirements

• University degree or extensive practical knowledge gained through experience in quality assurance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of process control, testing, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to analyze reports and defective products to identify trends.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with suppliers and internal teams.
• Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
• No prior experience required (0 years minimum).
