Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Spring Creek Healthcare Center, a premier 179-bed nursing home located in Perth Amboy, NJ. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our patients and residents by developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients and residents, taking into account their medical needs, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences
Conduct nutritional assessments and create treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Provide nutrition education to patients, residents, and families, promoting healthy eating habits and disease prevention
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and residents
Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in nutrition and healthcare
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition and foodservice
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a current registration in the National Registry of Dietitians and Nutritionists
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
