Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for working within a school setting. The successful candidate will provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, aimed at enhancing their ability to participate fully in school activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' needs for occupational therapy services within the educational environment.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and educational goals.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational programs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support students' functional abilities in the classroom.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in the development and implementation of IEPs.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
