Shift: Monday–Friday | 5:00pm - 3:30am (Some Saturdays, OT as Needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Shop Helper to support operations across hydrostatic testing, finned tube bundle production, and CNC plasma table fabrication in Claremore. The Shop Helper will assist with cleaning, staging, assembly, inspection, and post-processing of components used in air-cooled heat exchangers and structural fabrication.

This Shop Helper position plays a key role in ensuring materials meet structural, cleanliness, and dimensional standards prior to shipment or installation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Shop Helper role includes:

• Assist in cleaning finned tubes using compressed air reverse airflow
• Support fining machine setup, tube preparation, and bundle staging
• Assist with plug replacement, tube re-rolling, header maintenance, and rework
• Inspect headers, plug seals, and bundle integrity under supervision
• Assist CNC plasma operators with loading, clamping, and unloading steel plates
• Stage and layout materials according to job specifications
• Remove cut parts and scrap materials for welding and finishing
• Support routine equipment checks (torch alignment, coolant levels, etc.)
• Operate lifting aids and overhead cranes under supervision
• Lift and move heavy bundles, tubes, and steel plates
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety procedures including PPE and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO)

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience required
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and hydraulic tools
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work with compressed air systems
• Commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more as needed
• Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
