Job Title: Skilled Construction Laborer

Pay rate: $20/hr

Job Description

During this role you will be working outside, assisting managers moving material around the yard. Need to be able to work outside, be able to lift 85lbs. Reliable transportation and full 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools safely to build, install, repair, and maintain facility components.
• Handle materials, parts, and equipment, including loading, unloading, and organizing work areas.
• Operate or assist with operating tractors and forklifts to move boats and materials, if qualified.
• Work outdoors 100% of the time in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity.
• Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 85 pounds as part of daily tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and facility guidelines to protect yourself, coworkers, and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and technicians to complete tasks efficiently and meet operational timelines.

Essential Skills

• Experience performing general labor or construction-related work in an outdoor environment.
• Ability to use common hand tools such as impact drivers, hammers, and tape measures.
• Ability to use basic power tools, including drills and related equipment, safely and effectively.
• Capability to perform material handling tasks, including lifting up to 85 lbs.
• Must have and bring your own basic hand tools (impact driver, hammer, tape measure, etc.).
• Ability to follow instructions and support service technicians with tools and labor tasks.
• Clean driving record suitable for operating vehicles and equipment on site.
• Comfort working 100% outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of construction, wood work, and building maintenance practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to operate a tractor is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
• Familiarity with dock, marina, or marine-related work is a plus.
• Experience in building, installation, or construction environments is beneficial.
• Comfort working around boats, trailers, and marine equipment.
• Strong reliability and willingness to take on a variety of physical tasks.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Island, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Grand Island,NY.
