HR Analytics Specialist - Shoals Technologies Group

Location: Portland, TN (Hybrid)

Overview: Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. is currently looking for an HR Analytics Specialist. As the HR Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for compiling, structuring, and analyzing HR data to make conclusions that help streamline the process.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting data on payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, employment records, and exit interviews.
  • Implementing relevant HR metrics in order to determine the efficiency and impact of the workforce.
  • Analyzing data and statistics for trends with regard to recruitment practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Optimizing and implementing new data processes and systems.
  • Compiling reports of data results and presenting these to senior managers.
  • Compile HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs
  • Design and manage employee surveys and exit interviews
  • Develop assessments for potential and current employees and update employment records
  • Support recruiting processes with data and statistics for trends and patterns
  • Present results of employee performance evaluations
  • Gather and disburse government labor statistics, new employment regulations, and labor laws
  • Analyze competitor's practices and make recommendations to management
  • Educate employees about company policies and HR practices
  • Prepare reports of data results and present findings to senior leadership
  • Data analytics and custom report building through Paycom or future HRIS
  • Lead creation of presentation decks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a data analytics or closely related role
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools statistical software
  • Experience with/understanding of HR metrics, KPIs, and their significance in organizational decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into understandable and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
