Job Description

: Overview: As a Technical Sales Consultant you will seek to understand detailed customer needs and defines how Origami Risk solutions can meet those needs both in RFPs and in person. Technical Sales Consultants are responsible for the configuration and presentation of complex solution demonstrations and leading technical discussions. Starting base pay for this role is between $120,000 and $130,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Responsibilities:
  • Partners with client business and technical teams to understand business objectives and integration requirements.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in assigned market.
  • Designs and configures solutions to address customer's business requirements.
  • Presents customized demonstration scenarios tailored to customer requirements.
  • Delivers business-oriented presentations to all levels of the customer organization including board level.
  • Supports the sales team as an expert on the technical and integration aspects of other enterprise solutions throughout the sales cycle
  • Contributes to/writes customer-specific Origami proposals and management summaries.
  • Documents customer requirements and known product / configuration gaps to facilitate the handoff to service.
  • Works with Product and Professional Services to identify and address product and configuration needs.
  • Leads the benefits assessment process and developing customized ROI/ROR analysis.
  • Assists marketing with support for events, PR, seminars, analyst demos, and campaigns.
  • Help articulate cloud visions and SaaS offerings to new and existing clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Business-related field.
  • 3+ years of previous experience for Technical Sales Consultant.
  • 6+ years of previous experience for Senior Technical Sales Consultant.
  • Previous experience working with technical sales teams and sales executives.
  • Insurance or Risk industry experience preferred.
